Valencia Overall
Valencia is a city in Spain that has many beautiful mountains and alleys and resides near the Mediterranean sea. This incredibly modern city has a rich history of success, wealth, mixture of culture, and conquest. This city has gone through many changes including that of the rise and fall of a wall and the person in power always. Its culture is one made of language, music, art, and religion. Although Valencia has a rich history, culture, and geography, it is held down by the cities many environmental problems, which includes polluted rivers, drought, and air pollution. This city can still be saved though if Windmill energy, solar panels, Water reclamation, desalinating plants, and electric gas stations are all implemented and used in a productive way.
Valencia’s environment is currently facing many challenges that the city as a whole needs to resolve. There are major problems with all kinds of pollution, manufacturing, endangered species, and the overall “land.” The Spanish government is taking steps toward fixing these problems, but there needs to be much more work needed to resolve these major environmental issues effectively. The environment of Valencia is very polluted, also, because of the manufacturing done by factories, which releases extensive amounts of carbon dioxide into the air. There are droughts and the drought and farming on that dry land all together is creating more erosion of the landscape. The Environment of Spain is suffering, and it is currently poor, although it is improving.
